Overview

PillSuite is a UK online pharmacy and telehealth service built on WordPress and WooCommerce. It handles standard products alongside treatments that require a clinical questionnaire before ordering — all layered on with custom code rather than edits to WooCommerce core.

The challenge

A normal store checkout doesn't fit regulated medicine ordering: some products need consultation questions and a review step, and everything has to stay secure and maintainable.

What I built

• Custom WooCommerce ordering flow for prescription and OTC products
• Consultation / questionnaire step wired into the ordering process
• Admin review and management for the pharmacy team
• Automated order-status emails for each fulfilment stage
• Performance tuning and server-level hardening

The result

A live, order-taking pharmacy that's easy for the team to run and comfortable for patients to use — built to stay maintainable as the service grows.
